Georgian Bay, Ontario – located within the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe people and home to the spectacular 30,000 Islands, majestic Bruce Peninsula, and the best fresh water boating in Canada! Named by Captain Henry Bayfield in 1822 after Britain’s King George 4th, the Bay covers approx 15,000 square kilometers and is often referred to as Canada’s 6th Great Lake due to its size!
The 30,000 islands scattered along the eastern shore form the largest freshwater archipelago in the world and are designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. From Beausoleil in the south to French River in the north, it is these islands that create the incredible scenery and provide the protection boaters love so much!

The west side is home to the rugged Bruce Peninsula, with its stunning shoreline and countless shipwrecks. The flowerpot formations, caves, ancient cedars and turquoise waters are like no other place on the Bay! Absolutely mesmerizing is the only way to describe a cruise along the north shore of the Bruce!
